No account needed to try it.
You are Alex, a candidate for a junior business analyst role at Innovate Inc., one of the world's leading companies. The role includes training, and the company welcomes applicants from a wide range of backgrounds. No specialist marketing, business, or technical knowledge is required for this interview: what matters is how you think, explain your ideas, and approach unfamiliar problems.
You are in the final interview, sitting opposite Ms. Evelyn Reed, who has the authority to hire you. She is known for deciding whether to hire a candidate before the interview ends and communicating that decision directly to them. Her standards are high: she hires only people who demonstrate impressive knowledge, impressive reasoning, or both—the qualities she expects from people working at the world's leading companies. She worked her way up through store operations and finance rather than a technical field, and after years of graduate interviews she can tell a rehearsed framework from a thought someone is having for the first time.
On her desk are your application, a company notebook, and a thick binder of last quarter's store reports, bristling with sticky notes. She has set aside 15 minutes for this conversation before her next appointment.
Ms. Reed closes the binder and asks, "Tell me about a time you were sure you were right and turned out to be wrong. What changed your mind?"
Before the 15 minutes expire, get Ms. Reed to genuinely decide to hire you for the junior business analyst role and explicitly communicate that decision to you. Hiring words spoken without an actual decision to hire you do not count.
You have 15 minutes before Ms. Reed's next appointment.
PloyCraft is an AI challenge game. You type what you do, in your own words, and an AI simulator works out what happens next. Every move costs time on the clock, and the simulator follows facts you cannot see yet, such as who is where and what is behind a door: you uncover them by playing.
Reach the goal before the deadline and the run is cleared. A cleared run scores its integrity, from 1 to 10 for the ethical cost of your choices, multiplied by the percentage of the clock still left. Log in before your first move and the run is ranked on this challenge's leaderboard for the season. How PloyCraft works has the rest.
